Federal Appeals Court Throws Out St. Tammany Library Cuckoos
A Fifth Circuit ruling has dismissed a lawsuit from the St. Tammany Parish Library cuckoos. The court found that the plaintiffs’ case was never about constitutional rights but about regaining political influence. What does this mean for the future of library policies?

A vow to transparency?
Our attempts to acquire law enforcement agreements with the federal government were rebuffed by the City-Parish of Lafayette. “You can’t have” the agreements that offer money to us for spying on our citizens (on the feds behalf). Now, before you start screaming “conspiracy theory,” know that not only do we already have copies of these agreements, but we’re also sharing them with you.

We’re being censored… by the anti-censorship crowd!
I keep telling you that these people are first-rate hypocrites. Maybe you want proof. Well, here you go. Last week, Citizens for a New Louisiana got called out by the American Library Association for being responsible for censorship! When we tried to respond publicly, THEY CENSORED IT! What a bunch of agenda-driven political hacks!

Whose side are they on anyway?
Republicans are constantly trying to convince you that they are doing everything they can. The truth is, they are not. They count on not having to stick to their word or stand by their vote. Is insincerity the reason they fear a veto session? Senate, the place where...

Lafayette Republican Swipes $35,797
People follow our content because we aren’t afraid to point out when those with nefarious intent hijack the process for their own selfish gain. In fact, it’s one of my favorite things to tell you about.

Louisiana’s Ministry of Truth
Documents acquired by Citizens for a New Louisiana reveal that it was the speaker himself who ordered our media credentials seized and revoked earlier this year; and made to appear as if someone else had done it.

The Lafayette Public Library “Controversy”
In Lafayette, the most controversial thing going on right now is… the Library’s summer reading program. No. Seriously.

Special Interests Own the Louisiana Legislature
When choosing between big business and protecting freedom for Louisiana’s residents, it seems the Louisiana Legislature can only move in one direction. Jill Hines, from Health Freedom Louisiana, looks back at some seized and lost opportunities from the most recent regular session.

Is Moncus Park really 100% donor funded?
The “Horse Farm,” “Moncus Park,” or Lafayette Central Park are different names for the same place. Because the park has recently threatened to start charging for parking, we’ve been contacted by countless Lafayette area residents asking us to look into the park’s finances. Here’s what we found out.

This Warrants Further Investigation
Gone are the days when police officers stood in front of a camera to ask for the public to help find criminals with active warrants. Today, the less the public knows about crime rates and active warrants the better it is for those in law enforcement leadership. While this may not be the case in every corner of Louisiana, it’s certainly true in Lafayette Parish. In fact, the Lafayette Sheriff is so tight-lipped that he won’t provide the public with even the most generic data: like a number of active warrants!

CAUGHT: Did Magee and Davis vote for personal gain?
We keep shining the light into those dark corners of Louisiana government. What we found this time is nothing short of shocking. It would appear that several legislators in the power-clique have helped to craft policies that impact certain government created monopolies in which their spouses make a substantial living.
