Citizens for a New Louisiana is excited to invite you to sponsor our Banquet and Silent Auction, Champions of Change: Spot-Lighting the Movement to de-woke government institutions. Our honored guest, James Lindsay, Ph.D., is a world-renowned Classical Liberalism and Enlightenment advocate who champions values like reason, individual rights, and free speech. Lindsay argues that Critical Theory, especially in modern iterations like Critical Race Theory (CRT), gender studies, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), etc., undermines traditional scholarship, science, and societal norms.
The founder of New Discourses, Dr. James Lindsay, is a vocal critic of modern educational and governmental policies that aim to reshape cultural norms through “Social Justice” frameworks. Dr. Lindsay, an author known for exposing the mechanisms of “Critical Social Justice,” will delve into how these ideologies are funded by tax dollars and implemented in our educational systems, public libraries, and government policies.
About Dr. James Lindsay:
An author, mathematician, and political commentator, Dr. James Lindsay has written eight books spanning a range of subjects, including education, postmodern theory, and critical race theory. Dr. Lindsay is the Founder of New Discourses, an organization dedicated to shining the light of objective truth in subjective darkness. Dr. Lindsay is the co-author of “Cynical Theories: How Activist Scholarship Made Everything about Race, Gender, and Identity―and Why This Harms Everybody” and is the author of “Race Marxism,” as well as his newest book, “The Marxification of Education.” Dr. Lindsay has been a featured guest on Fox News, Glenn Beck, Joe Rogan, and NPR and has spoken at the Oxford Union and the EU Parliament. More recently, he also exposed Maoism in America in a new video by Prager U.
