At the last council meeting, not only did the Lafayette City Council violate the rules, but they did so with full knowledge. This is not an isolated incident, either. Councilman Lazard made that point quite clear by saying they’ve already violated just one of the rules seven (now eight) times this year!
I didn’t stop there – mentioning several other examples of wanton violations of all kinds of rules. What’s their response to all of this lawlessness? “Catch me if you can.”
Instead of creating the “Save the City from Josh Guillory” committee, perhaps someone should be creating a “Save the City from the City Council” committee.
