The mention of signage sounded eerily similar to the display controversy in Lafayette Parish, which was created by Citizens for a New Louisiana.
Citizens for a New Louisiana does the research that no one else is doing,
In Louisiana, the movement [to remove or reshelve sexually explicit books] started in Lafayette in 2021 when ... the conservative nonprofit Citizens for a New Louisiana filed an objection.
