Join Convention of States representatives Dave Doiron and Julie Sandifer at our regular Friday “Secret” Lunch in Lafayette as we explore the history, purpose, and need for an Article V Convention of States.
David Doiron is the Convention of States House District 150 Captain. David has long had a passion for learning and our country’s Constitution. He graduated with honors in 1986 from Loyola University’s School of Law in New Orleans. After clerking for a federal judge, the late Honorable George Arceneaux, and practicing law for several years in Louisiana, he has pursued a career in labor relations and human resources.
Julie Sandier retired from teaching in the East Baton Rouge Parish School system with 40 years of experience and certification from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. She presently is the coordinator and teacher of the English as a Second Language program at Adult Literacy Advocates of Greater Baton Rouge. She became a Convention of States volunteer in 2019 after hearing Dr. James Dobson’s endorsement of the organization on his daily radio program. Julie is the Louisiana Director for Convention of States.
